Pinnacle Living is pleased to announce two recent changes to its Pinnacle Leadership Team. Chris Henderson, President and CEO of Pinnacle Living, said these exciting changes will enable Pinnacle Living to continue to be a premier provider of senior living services while adapting to an ever-changing marketplace.
On Monday, January 10, 2022, Cedarfield welcomed Paul Gregg as Executive Director. Gregg comes to Cedarfield with a Master’s Degree in Aging Services and Non-Profit Management from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor’s Degree from St. Andrews Presbyterian College. He brings more than 25 years of senior living experience, most recently serving as Executive Director at Westminster at Lake Ridge, operated by Ingleside, Inc. in Woodbridge, Va. Prior to joining Ingleside, Paul held leadership positions at Glenaire, a Presbyterian Homes’ Life Plan community in Cary, N.C., for 18 years, serving as Executive Director for 10 years of his tenure there.
“Paul is a servant leader with experience that fits well with the Cedarfield culture of excellence,” noted Henderson. “His background and experience will help pave the way to strengthen our culture change initiatives while continuing to offer a premier retirement lifestyle.”
“I am excited and honored to become the new Executive Director at Cedarfield,” Gregg said. “This community has a rich heritage, mission-driven excellence, and a culture of inclusiveness and respect for both team members and residents. Everyone has been so gracious in welcoming me. I look forward to being a part of the future of this community.”
Gregg will manage all aspects of Cedarfield, including oversight of the continuum of services for 527 residents and daily operations involving 290 team members.
Michael Shaw, who most recently served as Cedarfield’s Executive Director, will take on a new position with Pinnacle Living as Vice President of Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) Operations. In this role, Shaw will be supporting Executive Directors in the five Pinnacle Living communities across Virginia.
“I’m truly humbled and excited to have the opportunity to serve those who live and work across the Pinnacle Living family of communities,” Shaw said. “I consider this promotion to be a reflection of the great work our Cedarfield team members and residents have achieved over the last several years.”
