Our Accreditations

CARF Accreditation—A Hallmark of Quality

Pinnacle Living is fully accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). Fewer than 15% of Life Plan Communities in the U.S. have earned the distinct honor of CARF International accreditation.

CARF
What does it mean to have CARF accreditation?

CARF accreditation demonstrates Pinnacle Living’s commitment to being among the best retirement communities available.

Having CARF accreditation is your assurance of our high standards, ethical business practices, positive outcomes, community engagement and commitment to continuous improvement of services.

Accreditation is the most effective means of assessing a community’s services to its residents, as well as its future residents, team members and the surrounding community.

Why is CARF accreditation important?

Continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs) that voluntarily participate in the accreditation process ensure their commitment to the continuous process of quality improvement and conformance to the highest standards in place for our industry.

With Pinnacle Living, you can be sure our communities effectively carry out our mission, providing the services stated in our advertising and promotional materials based on these credentials.

2024 LGBTQ + Cultural Competency Training - SageCare
SAGECare

We are proud to share that Pinnacle Living is SAGECare Credentialed. SAGE is a national advocacy and services organization that has been a champion for LGBTQ+ older adults since 1978. SAGECare is a cultural competency training program specifically designed for long-term care and other congregate living providers that helps providers create more LGBTQ+ welcoming organizations. SAGECare credentials help LGBTQ+ people find trained providers. SAGECare's dynamic and informative training provides orientation to the needs and experiences of LGBTQ+ older adults so we may provide the best services possible to this population. The training enables us to contextualize the lives of LGBTQ+ older adults through case studies and videos of real individuals to understand why some LGBTQ+ older adults may choose not to come out. The training also provides an overview on the various rights and protections extended to LGBTQ+ residents. Finally, being credentialed connects us to local and national resources and enables us to receive best practices to integrate into our work.
