SAMARITAN PROGRAM

Make a Difference in the Life of a Senior

Uncontrollable circumstances or longevity of life can change a resident’s financial situation. At Pinnacle Living, we have never asked residents to leave their homes because they have exhausted their funds through no fault of their own.

Since our founding, our Samaritan Program has provided benevolent financial assistance to residents who have outlived their resources and cannot pay some or all of their monthly fees.

Gifts like yours make it possible for deserving seniors to live with dignity and security in their Pinnacle Living community homes.

Each year, Pinnacle Living gives approximately $600,000 in benevolent financial assistance. What is not raised through donations is absorbed by the community in which the resident resides.

For Fiscal Year 2023:
96.2 was the average age of those receiving support
80% of recipients were women
20% of recipients were men
40% Healthcare
40% Independent Living
20% Assisted Living
$6,539,924 in financial assistance provided over the past ten fiscal years

You can play a vital role in continuing this legacy through a gift to the Samaritan Program. 100% of contributions go directly to the financial support of residents in need. Give online today, and feel good knowing your tax-deductible donation will go to work immediately.

Samaritan Offering

Join Rev. Charles Wickham, Director of Donor Development for Pinnacle Living, during his sermon “Play or Pass” discussing the Samaritan Program at Pinnacle Living. Rev. Wickham explains the Virginia Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church’s special offering time period for Pinnacle Living’s Samaritan Program and our duty to “love thy neighbor as we love ourselves.” The benevolent mission of the Samaritan Program ensures the personal security and peace of mind of our most vulnerable residents, and we hope you consider donating after you virtually worship alongside us. Open your Bible and turn to 2 Kings 2:1, 6-14 and Luke 10:25-37.
